1. Who we are

HouseCall Nails BKK is a mobile nail service operating in Bangkok, Thailand. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us to book an appointment through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, you give us your name, phone number or messaging handle, the address where you would like the service, and any preferences you mention. We use this only to arrange and provide the appointment.

Photographs of your nails

We often photograph finished nails for our website and social media. These images show hands only — never your face, your home, or anything that identifies you — and we always ask on the day before taking any. You may decline, at the time or afterwards, with no effect on your service or price. To have a photo removed later, just message us. This is covered further in our Terms & Conditions.

Information collected automatically

If — and only if — you accept cookies on the banner, the tools below collect technical and usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, referring website, and an anonymous identifier stored in your browser.

Our hosting provider (Netlify) also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. This happens regardless of consent because it is necessary to operate the site securely.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Consent Mode, which means Google's tags are told not to store anything until you consent. No advertising or analytics tag is loaded at all before you press Accept.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide the service you asked for — arranging your appointment. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); necessity for a contract under PDPA.
• To run and secure the website — server logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); legitimate interest under PDPA.
• To measure traffic and advertise — analytics and ad pixels. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); PDPA s.19). You may withdraw it at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site and our advertising work:

• Netlify — website hosting
• Google — analytics and advertising (only after consent)
• Meta — advertising (only after consent)
• WhatsApp / Facebook Messenger — when you choose to message us there

These providers are located outside Thailand, so accepting analytics and advertising cookies involves transferring data internationally, including to the United States. These transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

• Booking conversations: kept while you are a customer and for up to 2 years afterwards.
• Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months.
• Advertising audiences: typically up to 180 days from your visit.
• Your consent choice: stored in your browser until you clear it or change it.

7. Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, if you are in the EU/UK, the GDPR, you may ask us to:

• access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• delete your data, where we have no ongoing need for it;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent to analytics and advertising at any time.

To withdraw consent, click “Cookie settings” at the bottom-left of any page and choose Decline. To exercise any other right, email us at the address in section 1. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), or — if you are in the EU/UK — to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Where a client under the age of 20 books a service, we ask that a parent or guardian make the booking.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or which tools we use, we will update this page and ask for your consent again.
